Meets Friday, 6:30-9 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Experience a time of profound silence and praying with scripture as you enter into a deeper relationship with God and self. This retreat blends a rhythm of centering prayer, Lectio Divina and group reflection. There will be several 20-minute sits, group Lectio Divina sessions, an optional video and personal time to walk, pray in the chapel, spend time in the art room or simply rest. All are welcome, regardless of whether you are just beginning these practices or have already been deeply formed by them.

Gwen Pickering has been practicing Centering Prayer for more than 20 years. She is grateful for the way this prayer has brought her closer to the Divine and led to deep inner healing. To be able to share this transformational prayer with others, she became a commissioned presenter through Contemplative Outreach. A decade ago, she heard God call her to share Lectio Divina. In that holy moment, she knew she was called to be a spiritual director. When she is doing spiritual direction and leading retreats, her soul feels like she is at home.
