In nonprofit work, leaders regularly serve and employ people in recovery and people with trauma histories. This is a strength for nonprofit organizations, but it also requires practical skills to prevent burnout, reduce conflict, and maintain safe and respectful boundaries.
Communication Under Stress
When tension or crisis emerges, the way nonprofit staff respond can determine whether situations escalate or resolve. This training focuses on practical de‑escalation strategies, grounded communication skills, and techniques for staying steady under pressure. Participants will learn how stress affects the brain, how to recognize early signs of escalation, and how to respond in ways that reduce conflict and promote safety.
