CelticFest in conjunction with The Little Gallery Café invites you to join a very special CelticFringe breakfast event in Warwick on Saturday 4 October, featuring internationally renowned Australian poet Rupert McCall. Rupert has been likened to a modern-day Banjo Patterson and is probably best known for ‘Green and Gold Malaria’, his ode to Australia, written for Australia Day 1995. Rupert is in Warwick on Saturday 4 October to attend the Roche family reunion; he is the great-grandson of Cornelius Roche, who emigrated to Australia together with his seven siblings from 1883, settling in Emu Vale.
Don’t miss out on this rare and wonderful opportunity to meet and have breakfast with Rupert in The Print Room at the Little Gallery Cafe, where he will recite some of his poetry, participate in a short Q&A with MC Stephen Roche, and take some questions from the audience! And if you haven’t got your copy of Golden Soil yet, this will be your chance to not only get your hands on one, but to also have it signed by Rupert.
Your ticket will include a buffet-style breakfast with finger food, tea and coffee (barista coffee/tea/drinks must be purchased separately). But tickets are very limited – be quick so you don’t miss out!
