Imbolc: The Stirring of the Seed
The earth is breathing. Deep in the dark soil, life is shifting, preparing for the first light of spring.
On February 1st, we gather to honor Imbolc, the sacred Celtic threshold where the potential of winter begins to bloom into form. This is a time of the quickening, when the spark of life returns to the land and to our own spirits.
Our ceremony is an invitation to shed the heavy cloak of the past months and prepare your internal soil for new growth. We begin the journey with intention setting and Ecstatic Dancing to move the energy that has sat still for too long, clearing the way for fresh vision. There are no steps to follow, only the rhythm of your own pulse and the heartbeat of the land.
From that space of clarity, we move into Healing Breathwork and release into a deeply relaxed trance state.
To close our circle, we enter a guided meditation to sit with Brigid. In the warmth of her forge and the clarity of her well, you will find the specific spark you need to carry forward into the light of the coming year.
We will sit with ancient Celtic teachings, remembering the old ways of honoring the seasons and our connection to the lineage of the flame.

To Prepare:

• Take a few minutes to think about what you are ready to release and what you want to receive. Write your intentions down in your journal.
• Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in.
• Eat a light lunch beforehand and allow time to digest.
• Come with an open mind and heart and be prepared to co-create magic and deep transformation for yourself and our community.
• If you feel a little nervous, or stuff starts to come up for you in the days before the ceremony, remember that you have chosen to do this work. The emotions starting to get stirred up is a natural part of your healing process.
