If you are seeking a safe space where freedom of expression is encouraged, this is for you. Ecstatic Dance is a beautiful celebration of one's true self. It is a music-driven, spiritual practice to release emotions and stress, and allow yourself to shine in a non-judgmental environment. Come dance like no one is watching and feel the liberation that comes from this practice. There is no guided choreography, no discussion, just moving the way your body is calling to you.Our dance will be lead by DJ Matt Wasson, bringing a vast experience of Conscious Movement and Ecstatic Dance knowledge to the table. This dance is donations based, and there will be multiple donations jars for you to choose from such as the "Purrole Office," "Robin's Nest: Children's Advocacy Center," "The Wig Bank of Caldwell County ," "Lenoir Service League," or "Caldwell Pathways."
Why Celestial Celebration? Stefanie (the "Moon" of Wolf Moon) loves to dance, and ecstatic dance is one of her favorite ways to express herself. Come celebrate one of our owner's birthdays, share your energy with our beautiful space, and help bring more ecstatic dance to the Lenoir Area. It's a party! Wolf Moon just turned 3... Stefanie is turning 39.... and well, that's a lot of "3" math, so let's Celebrate!
