Celebrity Poorly Painted Pets! Pet Food Drive for the Floyd County Food Pantry

Join us for Celebrity Poorly Painted Pets, a hilarious pet food drive benefiting the Floyd County Food Pantry, on Saturday, September 12, from 2–4 PM at Tellurian Brewing, 100 South Main Street, Charles City, Iowa. Bring your pet or a photo of your pet and let our local “celebrities” attempt to paint their masterpiece in 5 minutes. Some of our celebrity painters include “Mayor” Jason Daniels, who can paint cars but not pets; Pete Kloberdanz, insuring the city by day and creating masterpieces by night — now that’s a different policy; Rob and Phoebe Pittman, teachers of everything except how to keep within the lines; Joe Taylor, middle school principal who is used to herding kids, not holding a paintbrush; and Patrick Nyberg, TAG teacher who works wonders on students, not canvases, Erik & Sue Hoefer-Sue handles the painting, Erik handles the crowd..together they are almost a full art department, and Jen Burton, who keeps the food pantry running smoothly… we’ll see if her brush strokes are as organized!
Enjoy the special drink, “Fishbowls,” created by Lanie, and help support the pantry with suggested donations of dry or canned cat or dog food, cat litter, or cash donations of any amount. 100% of donations go to the Floyd County Food Pantry. The event is sponsored by SNAP of Floyd County and Tellurian Brewing. This is a great warm-up for the 6:30 pm Iowa vs. Iowa State game!
