A one-hour recital of the works and music of William Barnes in his own Church at Whitcombe, followed by tea in the Tythe Barn
Join members of the William Barnes Society as they celebrate the works of local Dorset Dialect poet William Barnes in the church in which he ministered.
After the event, there will be refreshments served in the nearby Tythe Barn
Car parking will be arranged on Whitcombe Green and signed from the A352
The event is free but donations are welcomed to support the churches of Whitcombe and St Peter's Winterborne Came where Barnes is buried.
