Every Samhain, I love to host something that cuts through the commercial noise of Halloween and goes straight to the old ways — deep ancestral connection, ritual, and reverence.

Yes, I adore Halloween and all its playful chaos… but this night? This is different. This is for the old souls who feel the veil thinning and know there’s something powerful about gathering to honor those who came before us.

If you’re feeling the pull — this dinner is for you. 🖤🎃✨

🕯️ What is a Dumb Supper?

A Dumb Supper is an ancient Pagan tradition — a sacred, silent meal held to honor and commune with the dead.

At our table, the usual dinner rules are shattered.
We eat in reverse (dessert first, soup or salad last).
We sit in silence as the spirits join us — a place is set at the head of the table for the ancestors, and the hosts serve them first.

Why backwards?
Because this isn’t an ordinary dinner. Eating in reverse breaks the routine of the living and signals to the other side:
“The door is open. Come feast with us.”

It’s beautifully strange, delightfully rebellious, and deeply reverent — a ritual where the boundaries between worlds blur and wisdom can slip through.

🕯️ What to Bring

• Photos or mementos of loved ones you wish to honor.
• Journal or notebook for reflections.
• Any small ancestral items you’d like on the altar.

Dress in all black — think elegant, witchy, respectful. No need for formal gowns, but this is a night to look intentional and honor the dead.

🍽️ Important Details

🕖 Arrive 10–15 min early — the ritual begins at 7:00 PM sharp.
🍷 A curated 3-course meal will be served (catered menu announced soon).
⚡ Extremely limited spots — application required.
