Mark your calendars for Winneconne's Celebration of Lights in downtown Winneconne on the weekend of Saturday, December 14, 2024. This event is FREE to everyone!New This Year - we'll start our weekend off with a Cocoa Walk on Friday, December 13th at 3:00pm. You need to register to receive a collectible mug and then sample cocoa at different businesses throughout Winneconne. The Cocoa Walk will run rain, snow or shine! Businesses will also be open to the general public for all ages during this event. Ticket includes: Collectable mug & a Map of participating businesses with Voting card. Best Cocoa award & gifts will be announced at 7:00pm during our LIVE Lucky 13 Raffle Drawing at Woodeye’s Bar & Grill. Registration Opens November 1st!
Saturday festivities will begin with the Holiday Parade at 4:30PM. With help from community partners and sponsors, the Chamber will be hosting the parade which will be featuring festive floats, holiday music, and thousands of twinkling lights to marvel at under the stars. Kids (and parents) of all ages are sure to enjoy this spectacular show and find it the perfect way to kickstart the holiday season!
Following the Parade about 5:00pm, there will be a fun Holiday celebration at Waterfront Park Pavilion (across from the Village Offices). We love this magical town tradition that brings the community together for an evening of goodwill. There will be a Tree Lighting, festive music, warm drinks, cookies plus a special visit from Santa.
