James Marcus DawsonAge 63 of Owosso passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Memorial Healthcare.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of James Life will be held at a later date.
James was born February 27, 1961 in Lansing, the son of James "Jim" and Eva (Leonard) Dawson.
He graduated from Owosso High School and proudly served in the United States Army.
James was a member of Owosso V.F.W. and was a selfless man who would help anyone in need. His daughters and grandchildren were the light of his life, and truly looked forward to the time spent with each other.
He was owner and operator of Dawson Heating and Cooling and was also employed through the years with Waste Water Treatment Plant in Dewitt and State of Michigan in maintenance.
James is survived by his daughter April (Felicia) Ziehmer; his grandchildren who were his whole life Leo and Charlotte Ziehmer; brother Bill (Kris) Dawson; sisters Stacey Harrington and Vickie Lazaroff; other loving family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents.
