In Loving Memory of Wally ❤️
Please join us as we celebrate the life of Wally and honour his final wishes in the place he loved. Wally wanted his ashes spread in Lake Superior, on the other side of Maple Island, surrounded by friends, family, stories, laughter, and good times on the water.
We will be gathering on the lake at 1:00 PM, weather and lake conditions permitting, to take boats out together for the ash spreading. We encourage anyone attending on the water to bring their own boats or seadoo, along with your drinks, memories, and stories as we celebrate Wally the way he would have wanted — relaxed, together, and enjoying the lake.
Following down on Nils bay rd , everyone is welcome back to camp starting at 4:00 PM for drinks, snacks, visiting, and sharing memories. Whether you join us on the lake, at camp, or both, all are welcome.
Details:
• 1:00 PM — Boats heading out on Lake Superior (if the lake is calm)
• 4:00 PM — Gathering back at camp for drinks, snacks, and stories
• BYOB & BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair)
This will not be a formal service, but a true celebration of Wally’s life, filled with the people he cared about, the lake he loved, and the kind of day he would have enjoyed most.
