We hope this afternoon will be filled with the things Sydney would have loved most—family, friends, stories, laughter, and, of course, some wonderfully terrible jokes.
One of the most meaningful things we hope to create that day is a special memory book for Sydney’s daughter, Rory. We would love for you to write a letter, share a favorite memory or tell a story about Sydney and bring it with you to place in the book. Our hope is that as Rory grows older, she will be able to read these stories and get to know even more about her mom through the memories of the people who loved her.
And because Sydney appreciated a good dad joke—the cornier and punnier, the better—please come prepared with your best one. We know she would expect nothing less.
We are also putting together a slideshow celebrating Sydney’s life. If you have photos of Sydney that you would like to share, please email them to [email protected].
Everyone who knew and loved Sydney is welcome. Please come share a memory, a laugh, a terrible joke, and help us celebrate a life that meant so much to so many.
