Rick loved people and spent much of his life caring for others through his long career transporting elderly and handicapped individuals. More than anything, Rick loved Jesus. He treasured every opportunity to share the love of Christ, pray with others, and encourage those around him.
Rick was also an amazing musician who loved worshiping Jesus with his Rickenbacker bass or acoustic guitar. Whether he was serving on the mission field in Mexico, playing in a local church, worshiping in a prayer room, or gathering with friends and family in a living room, Rick used music as an expression of his faith and love for God.
His many family members and friends miss him deeply, but they take comfort in knowing that Rick is now worshiping in the throne room of God
