Celebration of Life for Michael (Mike) Klein

Michael “Mike” Klein, 62, passed away on November 26, 2025. Born in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Mike graduated from Saratoga Springs High School and built a lifelong connection with the community and the friends he grew up with. Though he later moved to Florida, his heart always remained in upstate New York.
A skilled craftsman, Mike owned and operated his own construction and framing business for many years before working independently as a general contractor. He took great pride in the homes and structures he helped bring to life, and he was known for his hard work, talent, and dedication to his craft.
Mike was happiest outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, he loved spending time at the hunting camp and found peace in the woods. Whether he was tracking deer, wild boar, or simply surrounded by nature, the outdoors was where he felt most himself.
Above all, Mike was deeply proud of his daughters, Allyson Klein and Emily Ester Helen Klein, whom he loved beyond measure. His face lit up when he spoke about them, and they were the greatest joys of his life.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Ester Jane Klein and Charles Klein. He is survived by his daughters; his brother Thomas Klein; his sisters Sue Look and Kate Klein; many nieces and nephews; and the close lifelong friends who were like family to him.
Mike faced his share of challenges in life, yet he always had a big heart, a lively spirit, and a readiness to share a laugh or a story. He will be remembered with love for his humor, charisma and the unique light he brought into the lives of those who knew him.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at the Saratoga State Park, at the Polaris Pavilion, adjacent to the Peerless Pool, 11-2 pm on August 23, 2026.
