CELEBRATING EZRA
Our community is coming together to celebrate the life of Ezra — a man whose creativity, passion, and way of seeing the world left an impression on so many people.
Ezra was an incredible artist. His paintings weren’t just something he made — they were pieces of him. He had a way of putting emotion, energy, color and pieces of his own story onto a canvas. His work was bold, raw, beautiful and unmistakably Ezra.
But Ezra was so much more than his art.
He was a beautiful human being who loved deeply, created fiercely, and touched people in ways he probably never even realized. He had a presence that is hard to forget. There is nobody quite like him.
We’re planning a Celebration of Life for Ezra on:
Sunday, September 13th
3–8 PM
Harmer’s Town Art Center ( Graw Alley ) in Havre de Grace MD
We want this day to be about remembering all of Ezra — the artist, the friend, the father, the brother, the storyteller, the beautiful soul, and the man behind all those incredible paintings.
There will be live music from Duke Thompson, Eric Wilson , Dennis Schocket and The Sugaree Band, ( thank you so much for donating your time so generously ) and 410 Empanadas will be there with their food truck, donating a portion of their sales to the GoFundMe for Ezra’s boys.
We’re also working on having a podium where anyone who wants to can share a memory, story, poem, or simply a few words about Ezra.
Because there are so many stories.
So many memories.
So many people who loved him.
And so much of Ezra that deserves to be remembered.
Come celebrate his life. Come share his story. Come see the art. Come laugh, cry, remember and be together.
Come celebrate Ezra — exactly as he was.
