Celebration of Life for Captain William "Bill" V. Gustin

Join us as we gather to commemorate and celebrate the life and legacy of MDFR Captain William "Bill" V. Gustin and support his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

• Each apparatus must register under the "Apparatus Registration." Please select under "General Admission" the total number of personnel in the unit attending the service.
• Arrival time at the venue is between 8:30- 9:30 a.m.
• Staging instructions to be provided via email.
• Uniform for sworn personnel is Class A.
• Due to space limitations, we'd ask that each department only send one apparatus.
• FOR MDFR UNITS - The District Chiefs will coordinate with Battalion Chiefs for the selection of Operational Units that will be in attendance. Please do not submit your apparatus for attendance.

• Doors open at 10 a.m.
• Uniform for sworn personnel is Class A, and business professional attire for civilians.
• Each person attending must register their attendance under "General Admission".

Parking:

Parking at the Kaseya Center is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Other paid parking options are available around the arena.

Several public/private transit options are also available:

• Miami-Dade Transit System (Plan your trip)
• Brightline
• Uber/Lyft

FOR HONOR GUARD TEAMS:

• Please confirm your attendance with the total number of team members participating from your department at [email protected]
• All Honor Guard teams will be requested to bring their department flag and tools.
• Report time at the Kaseya Center will be between 6 a.m.-6:30 a.m. and practices/walk-throughs will be completed by 9 a.m..
• BSO Honor Guard Commander Charlie Eckert is the lead for all non-MDFR agencies.
• Parking instructions and meeting locations will be provided.
