Please join us as we gather for a celebration of life for our father, Brett Schaub, on June 6th at Paradise Pines Resort near Osseo. Live music will be played by Blondie Blue Beginning around 2:00PM Saturday.

Brett William Schaub passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, at Meadowbrook in Chetek with his children by his side. He was born on September 28, 1972, in Winona, Minnesota, and graduated from Durand High School in 1990. In June of 1996 he married Amy Ives and was later divorced. His life was filled with the joy of music and the cherished moments he spent with his children.
Brett's passion for music was an integral part of who he was. He was a member of Blonde Blue, Zaniac, and Soul Clutch. Brett took pride in growing up in Nelson, WI being surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the bluffs and the Mississippi River. He enjoyed traveling when he could and loved his corvette.
He is preceded in death by his father James Schaub, Mother Carole Braunworth (Becker), Grandparents Melvin and Dorothy (Pronschinske) Schaub, and Ronald and Mary (Konkel) Becker.
Brett is survived by his sister Christina Schaub of Las Cruces, NM, and will forever be remembered by his children: Trajan Schaub of Madison, WI, Jada (Bradley) Goplin of Osseo, WI and Caden Schaub of Eleva, WI. His role as a grandfather was one he cherished deeply for Orlin, Erling, and Amelia.
The family of Brett would like to thank the entire staff at Meadowbrook in Chetek and Heartland Hospice for the care and compassion they shared.
