In Loving Memory of Cynthia Constance Peele
*1926–2026 | A Century of Faith, Wisdom, and Love*
Cynthia Constance Peele, 100, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 24, 2026, leaving a remarkable legacy of faith, family, wisdom, and service.
Born and raised in New York City, Cynthia was deeply rooted in her family's Bajan heritage. A devoted mother of three, she built a career in New York City's social services system while pursuing advanced education and raising her children. She believed passionately in education, excellence, personal responsibility, and helping others reach their potential.
A lifelong seeker of truth, Cynthia personally accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior around 1980. Her faith became the foundation of her life and her commitment to prayer, encouragement, and service.
For the final 25 years of her life, Cynthia lived in Ohio, where she was a cherished member of SOZO Loveland Church, actively supporting its prayer ministry and women's fellowship. Known for her wisdom, quick wit, firm convictions, and warm, approachable spirit, she became a grandmotherly presence to many.
Above all, Cynthia loved her family. She found particular joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, faithfully praying for each new generation and encouraging her family to provide children with love, security, and a strong spiritual foundation.
She is survived by her three children, Denise, Jackie, and Stephen, along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and a church community that treasured her.
*Her century of life was measured not simply in years, but in the wisdom she shared, the faith she lived, and the generations she loved and strengthened.*
