The Taylor County Arts Council would like to invite you to join us in the celebration of Blaine Porter’s life at 1:00pm on January 26th, which would have been his 86th birthday.
Blaine was a founding member of the Arts Council and spent many hours volunteering at Gallery 62 West. He volunteered as a docent, hung shows, made repairs, fundraised, led meditation groups, was a member of the book club, taught photo workshops and helped with the stained glass ornaments.
Blaine's legacy of love, kindness, and cultural appreciation will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his dedication to making the world a better place, and his ability to create meaningful connections across the globe.
