Each year Zion Memorial United Church hosts an outstanding free event dedicated to celebrating Indigenous Culture. The event is also a fundraiser for Art for Aid, a local project that puts art supplies into the hands of Indigenous youth across Canada.The event committee is Indigenous lead, and offers opportunities for vendors to showcase their items to the people of Carleton Place and the surrounding area in a celebration of culture.
With education tents, kids activities, drumming, dance, games and more, this is a well run and beloved event by all who attend.
Opening ceremony is at 9:30 with the vendors and event doors opening at 10am. Hope to see you there!
