Celebration of a life well lived- Eddie “Ed W**d” Stocker

Stocker — not with a formal service, but the way he wanted: music, stories, laughter, and good company.
Ed didn’t do solemn. He did road trips, long nights, loud shows, and friendships that stuck. He saw the Grateful Dead more than 365 times, lived the scene, and kept the music moving — often literally — by handing out bootleg tapes so the show never really stopped.
If you ever got a tape, a ride, a recommendation, a cold drink, or just a grin from him, you’re part of the story.
They called him “Ed W**d” because, like a W**d, he just kept coming back — stubborn, resilient, impossible to get rid of, and somehow always exactly where he needed to be. He put down roots in people, not places.
This isn’t a goodbye. It’s a chance to swap stories, reconnect, play some tunes, and celebrate a life that was full, loud, generous, and uniquely his.
