New program series celebrating the 150th birthday of the church organJoin us this Sunday February 9 for the inaugural event in the Community Church of Hoboken’s 2025 program series. This begins a year-long celebration of the church’s 150-year-old organ, with ideas and inspiration! Sunday’s event is in two parts, an educational lecture followed by a sound bath. Both programs are free and open to the public.
First we will hear from architect Midori Kurihana on her experience working in Ukraine during the ongoing Russian War trying to keep people in safe housing. “Community in War and Resilience” will be a 30- minute slide lecture by Midori beginning at 1230pm and followed by Q&A. Next comes the “Sound Bath,” which will be introduced and conducted by Heidi Conlin, founder of the Sage Map. Both programs are free and open to the public
