Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Tony Mulhearn (1939–2019)
Tony Mulhearn was a leading Liverpool socialist and prominent member of the Militant, who played a key role in the city's left-wing Labour movement during the 1980s, campaigning for jobs, housing, public services, and against government spending cuts.
Join the Merseyside Pensioners Association and Tony's family for an evening celebrating his life, his politics, and his enduring legacy.
The evening will feature:
• A screening of a film about Tony's life
• A special address by David Whyte, author of Ecocide, on corporate power, environmental harm, and accountability
• A few surprises along the way
• Food and refreshments
All funds raised on the evening will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians.
