As part of the 2026 OutHudson events, the library will hold a celebration of the library’s oral histories of local people who identify as LGBTQ+. These oral histories are a significant part of the Hudson Area Library Oral History Project. This celebration, curated by oral history interviewer and History Room volunteer, Jasper Francis, features clips from new oral histories and comment from community members on the featured clips. In addition, LGBTQ+ themed items from the library’s City of Hudson collection will be on view. There will be a reception following the program.
