Join us for a special occasion celebrating the legacy of David Biddick—a dedicated coach, mentor, and long-time champion of cricket at Riccarton High School (RHS). The day will feature the official unveiling of the new cricket playing surface and viewing area, an Old Boys vs Current Boys match, and an evening dinner honouring David’s contribution to the sport and to our school community.Following David’s passing, his family generously directed donations toward creating a top-quality wicket block and viewing area—a lasting gift that will support Riccarton players for generations. This event is an opportunity to acknowledge that contribution, reconnect with teammates, and enjoy a great day of cricket.
All players, whānau, staff, and supporters are warmly invited to join us for any or all of the following events on Saturday, 10 January 2026, at Riccarton High School:
Old Boys vs Current Boys Match – 11:30am start. As well as a sausage sizzle for some of the day.
Dinner from Bacon Brothers – 6:00–7:30pm, including speeches and special acknowledgements. There will be a menu coming and cost TBC.
