This free, family-friendly evening is a celebration of connection, resilience, and the power of music to bring people together.
Supaman, also known as Christian Takes Gun Parrish, is an internationally recognized Native American hip hop artist, fancy dancer, and member of the Apsáalooke Nation from Montana. Through a groundbreaking blend of hip hop, Native dance, and storytelling, Supaman shares messages of hope, pride, inclusion, and healing that resonate deeply with audiences of all ages.
A recipient of the MTV VMA for “Best Fight Against the System,” Supaman has performed around the world while using his platform to uplift Indigenous voices and inspire communities through music and culture. His performances are powerful, energetic, and deeply rooted in identity, resilience, and joy.
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, enjoy local food trucks, and gather with friends, family, and neighbors for a meaningful evening of live music and cultural celebration in downtown Dayton. Everyone is welcome on the lawn.
Special thanks to the Charles F. Kettering Foundation and Dayton Metro Library for helping make free live music and community-centered cultural programming possible for all.
