Apple and cider production on the Killerton estate has left a legacy of heritage orchards. Learn how the team are managing them and planting new ones to create havens for nature and wildlife. Enjoy apple activities everyday and join the ranger team at weekends to press apples on a small scale.
Hungry for more? Join a guided walk on 16 and 17 October through one of the heritage orchards to the home of Killerton's 200-year-old apple press. There you will meet members of the ranger team, who will demonstrate the use of the press and share the history of Killerton's cider making.
When half-term arrives (26 October to 3 November), it's time for Autumn Antics - follow a trail of pumpkins around the garden to take part in seasonal games and activities, in addition to those already on offer during Celebrating Orchards.
