Let's celebrate the life stories of Adams County!
The Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County and Memoirs by Maureen are hosting an open house event at The History Museum on the Square in Quincy to celebrate the life stories of Adams County.
The open house will take place on Monday, June 22, 5pm to 7pm. The display will feature a selection of life story books of those in Adams County who have worked with Memoirs by Maureen to capture their stories over the last five years. In those five years, over 80 stories have been captured.
Those who took part in life storytelling are invited to attend, along with their family and friends. This event is also open to the general public.
The open house kicks off a week-long display of the story books. The display will be available for viewing June 23 through June 27th, 10am to 4pm.
