Experience a day of learning, creativity, and community as we honor the rich traditions and values of Kwanzaa.Kwanzaa is a week-long celebration honoring African heritage, culture, and community, established by Dr. Maulana Karenga in 1966. It emphasizes seven core principles—unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith. Celebrate this vibrant holiday with us through a diverse program that includes:

1pm: Jewelry Making
2pm: Kwanzaa Table Set Up / Educational Lecture
3:30pm: King Ibu Live!
Senegalese Musician King Ibu brings his passion for music to audiences around the globe. Featuring an exhilarating fusion of traditional West African folk sounds and contemporary arrangements, Ibu’s love for music transcends language and cultural barriers, connecting with people worldwide.
