Join the South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race as we celebrate this year’s outstanding honorees, Ellen Davenport and Lori Brown Mirabal, during Celebrating Integration: “The Power of Inclusive Community!”
Ellen Davenport served on the Maplewood Township Committee from 1990-2001 and as mayor from 1994-1997. Her leadership played a crucial role in creating the South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race. Lori Brown Mirabal has been a key contributor to our Integration through the Arts programs for nearly 15 years, writing and performing original children’s adaptations of operas and most recently sharing her co-produced documentary, ‘Gabriel’s Daughter’.
