Join the Museum of Political Corruption for an extraordinary evening honoring Julie K. Brown, the acclaimed investigative journalist whose groundbreaking reporting on Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking operation exposed a story and ignited a conversation that has challenged the powerful, toppled leaders, and helped give a voice to survivors who had long struggled to be heard.

For its 10th Annual Nellie Bly Award for Investigative Reporting, the Museum will honor Brown for demonstrating the courage, persistence, and determination that investigative journalism demands.
An Extraordinary Conversation
Following the award presentation, Julie K. Brown will join Marty Baron, the legendary former executive editor of The Washington Post and former editor of The Boston Globe, for a compelling conversation about investigative journalism, accountability, ethics, and the responsibility of the press to pursue stories that matter.
The conversation will be moderated by Brendan Lyons, acclaimed investigative journalist and executive managing editor of the Times Union.
Together, they will explore what it takes to pursue difficult stories, challenge powerful interests, protect journalistic independence, and bring hidden truths into the light.

This special evening is presented by the Museum of Political Corruption in partnership with the Times Union and the League of Women Voters of Albany County.
