Celebrating 40 Years of the Rover 800 at the BMC & Leyland Show

This show is the main focus for our 40th anniversary celebrations of the Rover 800, taking place only 2 days after the anniversary of the initial Rover 800 launch date in 1986! Our 800s will be alongside the SD1s, that are celebrating 50 years, in the prime position on the grass in front of the museum. The 600s/Accords will be on our usual place on the tarmac a couple of rows away. The museum will be providing us with some additional free passes for the 800s this year (and a few for 600s), but this is unlikely to cater for the member numbers we are expecting so these will be reserved on a first come first served basis, please email [email protected] if you wish to be considered for a pass. For members who are unsuccessful there is still a discounted ticket option. The vehicle exhibitor ticket is discounted and allows the buyer to get a vehicle entry ticket (subject to being in a suitable vehicle) for £13. This allows both the driver and one passenger in for £6.50 each on the day as opposed to the normal entry of £21 per person on the day so still a good saving. All the cars we cater for (Rover 600s, Rover 800s, Mk5 Honda Accord Saloons CC7/CE7-9 & Mk1 Honda Legends KA1-6) are eligible to join our stands at this show, as well as non-members’ cars although they will not be allocated a free pass. Weather permitting, we have the museum’s agreement to play music from 1976 and 1986 for the two anniversaries.
