Celebrating 40 Years of Fair Trade with Equal Exchange

Founded in 1986, Equal Exchange is celebrating 40 years of Fair Trade and worker democracy. Food cooperatives around the country were early participants in the fair trade movement and remain essential partners in continuing the work for democracy, transparency and fairness in our global food systems. Learn about Equal Exchange's rich history over the last four decades and how current efforts like the BioRevolution Project support small-farmers' resiliency as they face today's challenges.  Equal Exchange chocolate and snacks will be served!  Lead by Leah Madsen, a Worker Owner at Equal Exchange and Sales Rep for Littleton Food Co-op.
