You’re invited to Christmas Eve Worship at Christ Mertz Lutheran Church!This Christmas Eve, we warmly invite you to join us for a joyful celebration of the birth of our Savior, Jesus the Christ. Whether you are continuing a cherished tradition or visiting us for the first time, we would love to share this holy night with you.
Christmas Eve Worship Schedule
* 1:00 PM – Early Service
A service full of carols, inspiring scripture, and an opportunity to experience the light of Christmas before it gets too dark outside. Perfect for families with seniors and those who have early evening get-togethers.
* 4:00 PM – Family Service
This service for families with children, filled with familiar carols and the telling of the Christmas story in a way that’s engaging and meaningful for all ages. Pastor always reads a Christmas book to the children during the Children's Sermon.
* 7:00 PM – Mid-evening Service
For those who wish to welcome Christmas Day with quiet reflection and a sense of awe, this service offers a time for personal prayer and renewal away from the huge crowds earlier in the day.
Each service will lift our hearts in song, prayer, and celebration of God’s great gift to the world—His Son, Jesus Christ. The Sacrament of Holy Communion and the traditional lighting of candles while singing Silent Night will occur at all services.
