Celebrate with Disabled Adventurer at Delapré Abbey
About this Event
On Saturday 15h August, I'll be completing the Brampton Way in West Northamptonshire and as I roll back in, you're invited to join me and finish together.
I turned 50 in July. And this is my birthday gift to Northants.
As a thank you for the incredible support this community has shown me over the years, I'm throwing open the doors — completely free — for a small, personal get-together at Delapré Abbey Coach House.
A chance to meet me fresh off the trail, hear all about my plans to make outdoor adventures accessible for everyone across Northants through the donation of two all-terrain powerchairs and all-terrain experiences at events, watch my award-winning documentary Project RockClimber, and ask me absolutely anything you want.
No corporate fluff. No formal stage setup. Just a genuine conversation about outdoor access, adventure, and what's possible when you refuse to be told no. Project RockClimber follows my solo ascent of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) — the first ever completed in an all-terrain powerchair prototype. It won Best Northants Documentary Feature Film at the Northampton Film Festival. Come and see why.
On the day:
- Welcome Nick back from the Greenways trail
- Meet, chat and ask anything you like
- Hear about the 50at50 plans for Northants
- Watch Project RockClimber
- Q&A
Free to attend, my gift to you. Just register your spot so we know numbers.
Powerchair fund, donations are gratefully received on the day, cash or phone payment welcome. Every penny goes toward getting all-terrain chairs into Northants.
