Last year’s sold out event was a powerful afternoon of inspiration and community pride. We introduced two new honors: the Community Catalyst Award and the Tell Your Story Grant, with George Halkiades and The Journey Home as our inaugural honorees.
This year, we’ll debut The Journey Home’s grant-funded video, honor the new Community Catalyst, and unveil the Tell Your Story winner as well as our updated BCF Impact Video.
And we’re turning up the excitement as we welcome a special keynote speaker to the stage. Dr. Meg Myers Morgan is trained and certified in executive and leadership coaching from Columbia University. She has coached hundreds of people to see their worth by guiding them to improve their confidence, gain clarity, and overcome conflict. As an associate professor at the University of Oklahoma, she's taught and mentored hundreds of graduate students. Award-winning and best-selling author of the personal development book Everything Is Negotiable, Dr. Morgan has empowered and equipped hundreds of thousands of people to know their worth and harness the power of that knowledge. Her presentation, "Look for the Cups: How Small Changes Can Lead to Big Impact," will enforce that creating meaningful change can be achieved in even the simplest steps. You won’t want to miss it!
