In honor of the United States 250th birthday the Old Capitol Quilters Guild and the Iowa City Public Library are hosting a Patriotic Quilt Show. On display will be a combination of personally owned red, white, and blue quilts of all sizes plus over 100 service quilts made by OCQ Guild members which are being donated to the VA Hospital and the local Visiting Nurses Association for distribution to veterans.
