About this Event

Celebrate the magic of the season at Macy's State Street as we welcome one of Chicago's most beloved holiday traditions, the lighting of the Great Tree in the Walnut Room!

Make a day of it and discover festive experiences throughout the store, from top to bottom. Enjoy a taste of Chicago tradition with Frango, make a holiday craft in Toys R Us, find your perfect fit and fragrance, discover luxurious cashmere, holiday beauty, and more.

Plus, get photo-ready for your Great Tree moment with a 5-minute glow up, enjoy complimentary gift wrapping, and keep an ear out for our live pianist in the 28 Shop.

Join us for a day filled with shopping, gifting, sweet treats, and a little extra holiday magic as we celebrate the start of the season at State Street.
