Celebrate National Walk Your Dog Day with WVLT!

This day combines two of the most happy-making things we have in this life: dogs and exercise. Humans love walking with their four-legged friends, and pooches love their strolls with their people. So grab your walking shoes, a leash, and some treats for the road, and take your favorite pooch for a stroll with us Saturday February 22nd to explore WVLT protected lands in celebration of National Walk Your Dog Day!

The walk will be at a casual pace. Heavy rains/snow will cancel the event. Please Register so we know to expect you and to provide updates.

We can't wait to see you and your four-legged pals! 🐾

Requirements:

• Dogs must be on a 6 foot leash at all times.
• Dogs should be comfortable around other dogs and people.
• Dogs must be vaccinated as per NYS requirements.
• Owners must carry dog waste bags, pick up after their dogs, and carry the waste out with them.
