Celebrate National Trails Day with Boardwalk Trail Restoration!
About this Event
Join Preserve staff for a Boardwalk Trail Maintenance Day and help care for one of our most visited areas. Volunteers will assist with:
- Screwing in loose boards and hardware
- Replacing rotting boards
- Trimming back vegetation along the trail
- Planting native plants to help restore habitat
Whether you're looking to give back, enjoy the outdoors, or get your hands dirty for a good cause, we'd love to have you join us!
Wear closed-toe shoes, bring plenty of water, and be prepared for light outdoor work.
Want to go above and beyond? Bring your cordless power drill (with a fully charged battery) and help speed up the boardwalk repairs! We'll have a few drills available to share, so bringing your own is completely optional—but it will help us get even more done.
Lunch will be provided as a thank you for your hard work and dedication to caring for our public lands.
Together, we can keep the Boardwalk Trail safe, beautiful, and accessible for everyone!
