A sound bath & song circle workshop offering a deeply immersive and communal experience focused on releasing joy, relaxation and healing.
About this Event

Run by local wellness practitioner Kathryn Burrington of Meadow Therapies we are delighted to celebrate IWD with an opportunity to indulge in a soothing sound bath and uplifting song circle workshop.

Discover the joy of singing in a group with other women. These sessions are for any woman who wants to explore the power of her voice and group singing. Please join us, even if you think you can’t sing. No experience required. No need to read music.

The 30 minute circle may include meditations, chanting, singing in rounds and plenty of fun. We’ll learn songs from around the world that are easy yet beautiful to sing. The songs will be taken from a range of traditions including Pagan, Native American, Buddhism and more.

Sound baths offer a deeply immersive, communal experience focused on relaxation, a and healing. Participants are surrounded by soothing sounds from instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and chimes during the sound bath, which promotes stress relief and mindfulness. This workshop fosters both inner peace and a sense of unity.

PARKING

There is paid parking at Bognor Regis railway station and free on street parking nearby. We are just inside the railway station.

MISCELLANEOUS

Please bring any sustenance you may require during the evening.

PLEASE NOTE:

Yoga mats won't be provided so llease bring something suitable to lay on and warm clothes and a small pillow. We'd definitley recommend bringing a warm blanket too though the room will be suffieciently heated.

There will be a short break after the song circle so if you only wish to attend one part of the evening due to other commitments or for whatever reason you are welcome to! The song circle takes place between 6.30 and 7p.m. The Sound bath begins at 7.15 and concludes at 8.15p.m

Anyone with whiplash (within three days of the accident), in the first trimester of pregnancy, with sound-induced epilepsy or with a serious mental health condition MUST let Kathryn know.
