About this Event
Celebrate Halloween with the Queen Anne’s County Historical Society!
Join us on Saturday, October 31 for an afternoon and evening of Halloween fun at two of Centreville’s historic houses. At 3:00 PM, bring the children to the Gathering Room at Wright’s Chance for a special Children’s Victorian Magic Show featuring magician Mike Rose. Admission is free, but seating is limited to 40 people, so advance registration is required.
At 6:00 PM, head across the street to historic Tucker House for Spooky House, a longtime Historical Society Halloween tradition. Children can trick-or-treat their way through the decorated first floor of this real historic house, collecting candy along the way. Spooky House is free and no registration is required.
Then, at 7:30 PM, return to Wright’s Chance for Ghost Stories—the perfect ending to a Halloween evening surrounded by history.
