The September Equinox is the first day of Autumn for the Northern Hemisphere. The sun appears directly above the Earth's equator and day and night will be approximately equal. This creates a powerful and balanced energy.
In this workshop, Learn how to harness the energy and adapt to the transition from summer to early autumn with practices from Traditional Chinese Medicine. Many changes happen in the fall, including within ourselves and our bodies. Traditional Chinese Medicine teaches us how to work with nature and nourish ourselves thrive during changes. Early fall is the time of the Metal Element and the spleen.
View the sunset as you experience a workshop full of healing practices including yoga, acupressure, reiki, positive affirmations, meditation and recieve nutritional information. You will learn and practice many tools to help you feel balanced and healthy!
This workshop is taught by Erin Poyant Garris who has been studying Traditional Chinese Medicine through the lense of Yoga for over 8 years. She is a Reiki Master Teacher and loves to use a variety of ancient healing tools in her classes.
