This year, we’re bringing together two great traditions in one meaningful celebration: honoring the rich diversity of our CCD DEN community and caring for our planet on Earth Day – April 22, 2026.

Celebrate Diversity Through Food & Storytelling

We’re once again building our “bigger table”—both metaphorically and literally—by inviting all CCD DEN employees to share in the universal language of food. Bring a favorite family heritage dish, a cultural classic, or simply something you love. Alongside your dish, you’re welcome to share a recipe or a story about how food connects to your identity, traditions, or lived experiences.

Just like last year, we’ll be gathering recipes and stories to create our DEN Community Cookbook, so even if you can’t attend in person, you can still contribute!

Please don’t let bringing food be a barrier.
We’d much rather have you with us—emptyhanded but fully welcome—than miss the opportunity to connect.

Earth Day Clothing Swap: S.W.A.P. – Share, Wear, Adapt & Preserve

To honor Earth Month and reduce textile waste, the Sustainability Team is hosting a Clothing Swap! Refresh your wardrobe the eco-friendly way—no cost, no pressure.

Whether you’re here to donate, pick out something new-to-you, or both, all are welcome.

Donation Details:

• Donate clean, gently used adult clothing, shoes, and accessories. DEN branded clothing is also accepted!

• Collection bins will be available from April 8–April 22 in:
• AOB 6th Floor Lobby
• DEN Wellness Center
• J.A. Green
• WorldPort
• Maintenance Center
• DEN Gateway
• HTC Level 4
• Items left over after the swap will be donated to charity.

How to Participate

However you want to join in—bring food, share a recipe, donate clothing, pick up new treasures, or simply come for connection—we’d love to have you there.
