The Rotary Clubs of Norwich Diversity Event Committee invites the community to come together for the 2026 Celebrate Cultural Diversity event on Monday, September 28, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Chelsea Parade Park in Norwich. The rain date is Tuesday, September 29.
Celebrate Cultural Diversity is an evening dedicated to celebrating the people, traditions, and cultures that make Norwich the vibrant community it is. The event brings neighbors together through music, food, dance, cultural traditions, and shared experiences. Guests can enjoy live music, dance and cultural performances, Sikh dastaar tying, African headwrap demonstrations, face painting, and more throughout the evening. The event is free and open to everyone.
A popular part of the celebration is the Cultural Food Tasting from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, featuring samples from local restaurants and organizations showcasing foods and flavors from cultures represented throughout our community. Food tasting tickets are $10 per person, with children under six free. Tickets for this event can be purchased in advance.
