Let’s Celebrate Kindness, Creativity, and Community! We’re excited to come together in comfortable Jack and Jill or pink & blue attire for a fun and meaningful celebration. Let’s kick things off with some Acts of Kindness in the days leading up to the event! Choose at least 3 days and spread kindness: A day of kindness to your mom or caretaker. A day of kindness to your sibling(s). A day of kindness to yourself. During our gathering, we’ll explore the 7 Days of Kwanzaa and celebrate Kuumba — creativity! Here’s how to join in:Create and bring 13 small gifts to share with all your Monarch friends. These can be the same for everyone.

• Ideas: A small drawing, a picture you’ve colored, or a simple craft (like something made with pipe cleaners).
• Prefer performing? You can share a song, play an instrument, or dance at the event instead. The key is to let your creativity shine!
  We’ll also enjoy:

• Delicious s’mores
• A fun white elephant gift exchange (no need to bring a gift; they’ll be provided).
  Lastly, as part of the Monarchs’ community service initiative, we ask each Monarch to bring a nonperishable food item to contribute to our Blessing Box.
