Come, dance, get involved in a community ceilidh with a difference. Join us for an evening of social dancing to live music from Scotland + India + Nigeria! You are welcome to attend, dance or watch along. Trust our experienced dance practitioners to show you the steps. A perfect night out for curious beginners and seasoned dancers alike.
Plus, raise funds and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Redwoods Caring Foundation – supporting people with learning disabilities across Edinburgh and the Lothians for 40 years. Don't miss your chance to learn traditional dances from across the world on the same night. Share the joy through movement and music, be it Scottish Ceilidh, Afrobeats or Bollywood.
Keep an eye as we announce our hand-picked cracking band of Scottish dance callers and musicians, all with local, Indian or Nigerian heritage, including Dami Adeleke, Michael Arowolo and Marina Sharp. Plus, expect a pop-up food bar and a birthday cake! Also, remember to pack your refillable water bottles to stay hydrated while dancing the night away!
