CEEVC/SAME Fall 2026 Seminar: "What Does the Future Hold?"

The Old Dominion University Civil and Environmental Engineering Visiting Council (CEEVC) and The Hampton Roads Post of the Society for American Military Engineers (SAME) invites you to attend the Fall 2026 Seminar:

ODU CEEVC/SAME Fall Seminar: "What Does the Future Hold?”: Federal, State, & Regional Contracts

This seminar is on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

The objective of the seminar is to disseminate information to the architectural, engineering and contracting community on potential projects and budgets that Federal, State, & Regional agencies are developing for upcoming years. Agency representatives will present their budgets, procurement trends, project lists and priorities for the next fiscal year and beyond. Small Businesses will be highlighted at the Fall Seminar. A Small Business Sponsorship is available with an opportunity to present their business at the seminar (Limited to six (6) small businesses) ODU Faculty will have project posters highlighting current research.

• US Army Corps of Engineers
• NAVFAC Midlant
• Jefferson Labs
• NAVFAC Atlantic
• Virginia Department of Transportation
• Newport News Shipbuilding

Proceeds from this event go to supporting programs in the ODU Civil and Environmental Engineering Department such as scholarships, graduate assistantships, and research. CEEVC is an organization comprised of volunteers who support the education mission of the ODU CEE Department.

Small Business Sponsor - $300+ fees - Small Business Sponsors are limited to six (6). Benefits of a Small Sponsor includes One (1) ticket to attend the seminar, a 5 minute presentation during lunch, and announcement of the Small Business Sponsors during the seminar via the showcase of Firm Logo shown on screen before/after presentation (6 logos per slide) and Firm Logo in the Program (6 logos per page).

Individual Level Sponsor - $100+ fees - Benefits of an Individual Level Sponsor includes announcement of Individual Level Sponsor names during the Seminar, all names of Individual Sponsors listed on one (1) page in the Program, all names shown on screen on one (1) slide before/after presentations. Company Logos will not be shown with this level of sponsorship. This sponsorship does not include a ticket to the seminar.
