Cee Cee James & The Mission of S.O.U.L.

Cee Cee James and Rob “Slideboy” Andrews play all original songs in a passionate performance that will draw you in as Cee Cee wields her well honed lyrical and vocal craft of creating and giving from the depth of the life that she has lead. She has tasted tragedy, addiction and abuse, as well as the joy and depth of love gained and lost, and this has opened her up to bringing the vulnerability of a fired and understanding heart to her performances. 

Up until 2006, when he picked up the guitar, Rob “Slideboy” played bass for 35 years in the San Francisco Bay area which has given him the ability to play in a strong and solid groove pocket as he supports the varied intensity of Cee Cee’s performance and vocal delivery in his rhythm and delta slide guitar playing.

Between them, Rob and Cee Cee have written, recorded and released 6 CD’s, won several awards for their songwriting and performances and have toured extensively over the years throughout the US and Europe with a full band and more currently in a duo format.

Their performances are filled with deep vulnerability, laughter and guaranteed silliness as they weave together the stories of life in a way that they hope will bring you joy.
