We’re hosting a fundraising event to support Cedric Scott, who is currently waiting to see if he needs a heart and lung transplant. Cedric is battling several serious health conditions, including heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and a bacterial lung infection. Due to his health, he is on 24/7 IV medication and unable to work. This has led to financial strain, especially with medical bills, living expenses, and transportation costs, as he can only be taken to Methodist Downtown via private carrier after calling 911.
To help with these challenges, we are holding a community event with a great meal, a silent auction, and a bake sale. Every donation and every plate sold will go directly to supporting Cedric’s health and our family.
**Event Details**:
📅 **Date**: April 27th from 11-4 or until food runs out
📍 **Location**: diamond Jim’s 3317 25th Ave N Texas city
**Menu**:
$12 Plate – pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and a Drink.
In addition to the meal, we will have a **Silent Auction** raffles** and **Bake Sale** with items generously donated by friends and local businesses. We are also accepting donations for raffle items, and auction items so if you’d like to contribute, please get in touch with me.
Our 4 kids (ages 21, 19, 13, and 12) are all working hard in school, and we want them to continue pursuing their activities without worrying about the financial challenges we’re facing. Your support—whether by attending, donating, or spreading the word—will make a meaningful difference for us.
